His academic achievements include a BA in Classical and Ancient Studies from The Open University, with prior studies in Philosophy and Psychology at The University of Edinburgh, complemented by dramatic arts training at the British American Drama Academy in London.

Majid Jourabchi - Chief Executive Officer
Majid Jourabchi serves as Chief Executive Officer of Thyssen Petroleum Inc., where he leads the company’s operations and strategic growth across the U.S. energy sector. With a strong academic foundation — holding a degree in Mathematics and an MBA from the NYU Stern School of Business — Majid brings analytical precision and business acumen to every aspect of the company’s leadership.
Before joining Thyssen Petroleum, Majid successfully led multiple oil and gas companies operating across the Permian Basin, one of the world’s most prolific energy regions. His extensive executive experience is complemented by his role as an advisor and board member for several publicly traded oil and gas companies, where he contributed to guiding corporate strategy, governance, and operational excellence.
Majid’s leadership is characterized by a focus on sustainable growth, operational efficiency, and fostering innovation in the energy sector.
Muammer Alboamemah - Chief Operating Officer
Muammer Alboamemah is an accomplished petroleum engineer and energy executive with extensive experience in oil and gas exploration and production. Currently serving as the Head of Operations at Thyssen Petroleum, he oversees drilling, workover, completion, and facility management across diverse environments, from the Gulf of America to Alaska’s North Slope.
With a Master’s in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Houston and an MBA from Texas McCombs School of Business, Muammer combines technical expertise with strategic business acumen. He has held key roles at Schlumberger and Weatherford, leading major drilling and production projects. His deep operational knowledge includes extensive work in Iraq, where he managed multiple fields, optimizing production and implementing advanced engineering solutions. Dedicated to innovation and efficiency, he continues to drive operational excellence and sustainable growth in the energy sector.
Adrian Kahn - Exploration Geoscientist
Adrian Kahn is an accomplished Exploration Geoscientist at Thyssen Petroleum, where he has been a key contributor since 2017. Based in Houston, Texas, Adrian brings over eight years of experience in petroleum geology, specializing in subsurface evaluation, structural geology, and project development.
Adrian holds a Master of Science in Geology from Colorado State University and a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Texas A&M University.
Adrian combines technical expertise with a global perspective, supporting Thyssen Petroleum’s mission to drive exploration success through detailed subsurface analysis and innovative geological interpretation.
Kyle McKenzie - Geoscientist
Kyle McKenzie is a Geoscientist at Thyssen Petroleum, bringing a decade of industry experience across the Gulf of America, Caribbean, and Permian Basin. His expertise spans play-based exploration, reservoir characterization, prospect generation, development strategy, and operational planning.
Prior to joining Thyssen Petroleum, Kyle held key geological roles at BHP and C&C Reservoirs, where he systematically developed exploration portfolios.
Kyle earned his Master of Science in Geological and Earth Sciences from The University of Texas at Austin and his Bachelor of Science in Geology from Texas A&M University. Kyle focuses on delivering technically sound, impactful solutions that drive long-term value for the organization.
